I love collaborating with other artists and designers. Olivia and I started following each other on instagram and quickly became friends. It's always nice when you make a connection with a fellow artist and I knew I needed to get one of her pieces. Shopping small is one of my favorite things to do. I never really understood what it really meant to the owners of the small business until I started my own business.
Now I go out of my way to work with and buy from local and small shops. I don't wear much jewelry anymore since all Kett wants to do is pick and pull at it all, but rings I love wearing as much as I can. I love a good statement ring so when I saw Olivia's Fire Opal Ring I knew it was the one!
The Fire Opal radiates the brilliant hues of a California sunset. A stone of lore and legend, the Fire Opal’s light energy enhances the wearer’s consciousness, soothes emotions, and inspires creativity through expression.
It has been highly treasured since ancient times for its eye healing properties and merits of love, hope, purity and happiness. It is a stone for meditation and transformation. Opal is October’s birthstone.
When I opened up the package from Olivia I instantly fell in love. Her packaging is just as special as each one of her rings. I'm so thankful for unique pieces like this. I get compliments on this ring all the time!
